Journal History

This journal was established in August 2019 to publish articles related to the development of anthropology both from students and lecturers. Department of Sociology, Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP) has several courses related to anthropology, and even has lecturers with anthropological education backgrounds. Therefore, through the Labor Jurusan Sosiologi Universitas Negeri Padang which oversees several Journals in the Department of Sociology, Universitas Negeri Padang established an Anthropology Journal under the name Culture & Society: Journal of Anthropological Research.
